How to know if this is the right group for you:
This group is for you if:
You feel like you don’t know who you are, how you’re feeling, or what you need/want in life
You’re constantly second-guessing yourself, even with ‘simple’ decisions like choosing a restaurant
You have a hard time managing relationships, often finding yourself in one-sided relationships, going along with what everyone else wants, or feeling like you can’t connect
You feel like you should know how to do certain things as an adult - like handle your emotions or set boundaries - but struggle to do so
You struggle with confidence
Hi! I’m Katie, your group coach.
I’ve spent the last decade helping people heal (and prevent) Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN).
I know how lonely it can feel to grow up with emotional neglect not only in childhood, but adulthood, too.
I also know just how easy it is to think something is ‘wrong’ with you when you struggle to do things that everyone around you seems to be able to do without any problems.
I created the Online CEN Support Group to help you feel less alone in this experience + gain insights and tools to go from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to steady and confident in your ability to show up and be your REAL yourself without holding back.
Space is limited so if you’re ready for a change, schedule a FREE 15 minute call to get started!
I can’t wait to further support and empower you in this group.
Let’s make sure this is the right space for you.
Start taking agency in 3 easy steps:
-
We'll chat for 15 minutes to make sure this group is a good fit. If it is, I’ll send over 3 forms for you to sign and you’ll be all set to start!
-
Over 8 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to support others and be supported while you gain new information and tools each week to increase your confidence and skill at managing your difficult relationship with your parent…without sacrificing your peace.
-
You’ll receive weekly handouts + small but powerful action steps (that don’t take a ton of time!) to integrate new habits and skills so that you can walk into future interactions and decisions regarding your parents feeling confident and empowered!
FAQs

Group members are encouraged to plan around group times as best they can, only missing if there is something that is outside of their immediate control, such as sickness or death in the family. Support Groups are successful when there is regular attendance on behalf of all the participants. This creates consistency and predictability, which are the foundation of building trust and safety.

Yes, online support groups can be just as effective as in-person support groups! In fact, it can increase your overall comfort level as you are surrounded by the familiarity of your own home/space during the group session. Plus, meeting online can eliminate stress and barriers to attendance, such as drive time/traffic, making it easier to fit into your busy schedule.
-
